Emmanuel Clarke has sent in a brief report on how things went this weekend for him in the final round of the Kawasaki Cup Championship in Malaysian Super Series at the Sepang International race track.

With all roads leading to the Sepang race track here in Kuala Lumpur due to the MotoGP round being held this weekend, Clarke headed off into another first of sorts. He was going to be racing on the full track for the first time with only 20 minutes of Free Practice time. Due to the MSS running as a support class to the MotoGP event, a couple of classes were being combined to make up time!

Emmanuel managed a decent set of laps and before he could find a good rhythm the practice session was over. He managed to post a time in the top 10 out of a combined grid strength of 26. With a couple of 250's behind him, so he was very happy.

Next was time to attack qualifying and Clarke qualified 8th on the grid. He finished race 1 in the same position and and was sure that things would have been different had his front brakes and 6th gear not failed him. During this race, he managed to cut 2 seconds from his quyalifying time.

The next day was race 2 and overnight the team did a fantastic job to rebuild the bike and replace the gearbox. Things were working well. Managed to finish well and post 8th overall for the weekend and end the championship in 7th position.

When asked about the event he said "It was an eventful weekend! I would like to sincerely thank my sponsors Dollar Apparels, Pagalam Trawells, Jenny's Residency and to my team in Malaysia, Team Raceline and my mentor Mr.Barry Leong".
