Some of the quick hi-lights of the trip, before I leave you with the snaps...
- Of the 3 trucks transporting motorcycles out to the track, one didn't have the necessary papers and got siezed by the cops and we had to spend a good deal of time at the cop station. "Time to speak to the lawyer saab", kind of situation!
- Only the first few sessions were run by batches, the rest of the two days it was a free for all. And the best part is that this gave all the riders ample riding time, more than they wished for in some cases!
- We had a few crashes, but thank God, nothing serious.
- The track newbies of the previous sessions, showed real good improvement, which is what track days are all about. Watch out for them in the championship if the bullet class is included!
- There were a load of newbies this time around. As Pretty Poo would say, hope they found it trippy and I hope they are hooked!
- Kalkat, one of the riders, freshly back from the USA, confirmed that the Kari Speedway surface and layout was much better than some of the tracks stateside! Thanks Kari! And yeehaa, we need more!
- The RD 350s had a friendly race to themselves, as did the Royal Enfield and the smaller bikes. Everyone had solid fun both cheering and riding!
- Anyone sitting in Deepa’s esteem with Prashanth driving needs to get their brain, heart rate, etc checked. Both before and after the drive… I am on my way!
- Prashi’s bullet went through the speed trap at the end of pit lane at an excellent 144kmph. For someone struggling with the bike last year; it’s a great thing! Go faster on dude!
