Karthik, Harry, Tharun and Shyam grab pole positions
As the last event of the current racing season in Coimbatore got underway today at the Kari Motor Speedway, over 50 riders continued their efforts to grab the top positions in the grid as the qualifying sessions for the third round of the Rolon FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship 2009.
Among those topping the qualifying charts today and grabbing the coveted pole positions were P.Karthick in the expert class, Tharun Rajan in Group C 2 stroke and Shyam Shankar in the Group D 4 Stroke Intermediate classes and Harry Sylvester in the Group D 4 stroke open class..
Also sharing the limelight today were A. Prabhu th the Group D 4 stroke novice class and A. Vinoth Kumar in the mopeds class.
The main races tomorrow promises more action and thrills. The main races on on Sunday, 30th August at will commence at 10.30 am. Entry for the public is free.
