Harry Sylvester and K.Rajini came up with spectacular performances to steal the show on an action packed afternoon as the second round of the Rolon FMSCI National Motorcycle Racing Championship for bikes was held  at Kari Motor Speedway  A large and voracious crowd witnessing the action added to the day’s excitement.  

Group A 4 stroke 600 cc - Expert

The Group A races had every one enthralled and glued to their seats as the racers displayed tremendous driving skills at very high speeds. It as an all Red Rooster affair in Race 1 with their three ace international drivers Rajini, Preetham Dev Moses and Rohit Giri taking the top three slots after a three way well fought encounter.  Ultimately It was Rajini who took the chequered flag with Preetham and Rohit finishing second and third.   It was a repeat story as the trio fro Team Red Rooster once again repeated their podium sweep in the same order.

 Group B 4 stroke 130 - 165 cc .- Expert

Although Harry Sylvester of Team TVS Racing got off to a good start in Race 1, it was not a easy ride for him as pursuing him very closely were P.Karthik and K.Vinoth. The grueling three affair ended with Harry managing to  to take the top slot. Finishing in an extremely close second and third places were Karthik and Vinoth.  In Race 2  bad luck befell race leader Harry Sylvester as he had a fall which put him back down the grid and he had to content with a sixth place finish. But  it was the ebullient P.Karthick of Team TVS Racing who grabbed the opportunity to  take the honors quite comfortably.  While birthday boy and veteran racer T.K.Vishwanath also from the TVS stable had to be  content with a second place finish, it was K.Vinoth of Team TSI Racing who finished third.

Group D 4 stroke 130 cc to 160 cc - Open class

It was a great outing for the three youngsters from Hosur, Harry Sylvester, P. Karthick and Sarath Kumar who after a three very closely fought race finished first, second and third respectively in Race 1.  Harry Sylvester came up with a repeat performance in Race 2 to make a sweet double. P.Karthick once again finished second while Sumit Lucas came in third.

Intermediate category

Group C 2 stroke 130 – 165 cc

With Chennai lads dominating it was A. Sathish Kumar who took the chequered flag in Race 1.  Finishing in second place between was Tharun Rajan while S.Vinoth came in third.  In Race 2 it was the turn of Tharun Rajan as raced away to register a comfortable win.  M.Sudhakar and S. Vinoth  finished in second and third places.

Group D 4 stroke up to 130 cc – Novice

For K.Jagan it was double delight as he took the honors in both races. Race 1 saw D.Dinesh finishing  second while  S.Anand Kumar finished third. In Race 2 it was A.Prabhu and D.Dinesh finishing 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Group D 4 stroke Honda Single Make 125cc CBF - Stunner Class

In a closely fought duel Renn Johnson surged ahead by a fraction of a second to take the top slot in Race 1. While A. Prabhu finished a close second, coming in in a distant third place was M.Anand.   Race 2 once again saw Renn Johnson taking the chequered flag. Finishing in second and third places were Karthik Raja and Yogeswaran respectively. 

Group D 4 stroke 150 cc – Honda single make race

Shyam Shankar took the top slot in the only race held in this class.  R.Deepak and  A.Sathish Kumar finished second and third.

A. Vinoth Kumar took the honors in Race 1 while R.Ashok Kumar did so in the Race 2 of the mopeds category. Finishing second and third  in Race 1 were C. Mohammed Rafi and R. Ashok Kumar respectively while in the second race it was A.Vinoth Kumar and B.M.Sriram.
