Suncross reviews/comments?

Postby ksniranjan » February 18th, 2009, 9:41 pm

Hi Guys,
Has anyone come across the bicycle/maker suncross ? I came across this bicycle at a shop in Koti and was
quoting about 8.2k (after bargaining a lot, ofcourse. Originally quoted at 9k). The cycle did have good specification:

1. Aluminum body
2. front disc brakes
3. 21 gears
4. seemed like air suspension for back wheel (and it worked pretty well)
5. regular suspension in front
6. comfortable seating
7. not that heavy
8. good looks too

Is it worth going for it, if he comes down say around 7.5k ?

Niranjan,

You must have seen them at Prakash Cycles in Bank street, Koti. I remember having seen them there. But I did not venture into further research on them. Looks like they are in similar league of Hercules bikes. Decent looking.

Sorry could not be of much help,

What kind of components does this bike have? Any idea of the brand of FD and RD, etc?
All Bicycles weigh 50 pounds; A 30 pound bicycle needs a 20 pound lock. A 40 pound bicycle needs a 10 pound lock. A 50 pound bicycle doesn't need a lock.

Just saw a Suncross Loaded for 8k with dual-discs in addition to wahtever you have mentioned. I'd have been interested in it, but like I said in the other thread, I'm not going to buy a bike that doesn't show up when I Google it's name.

I suggest you do the same :-)

I'm mostly going with the ACT 105.
