probably schnell brand could be a bso.....

you could consider buying schwinn

You are better off buying known brands/bikes
Schwinn has a bike or two in that range

It is much better to buy brands of repute when one spends anything above 12-15k. it is upsetting to see guys sell bikes assuming we cyclists will not know whether the brands are from germany or timbuctoo!

There are some good brands currently available in the market , Trek, Schwinn Merida , Scott, Bergamont . If you are in Pune go visit nachiket at Lifecycle. A better place to invest your money in Pune than most bicycle shops

i ride the Schnell dynamic1 and i love it.. the one thing where it edges over the GT is the front disc... u get pretty good quality for the price u pay... however the bike is superlight n comes with on/off road tyres...so decide where do u wanna take it.. if u plan serious offroading..go for something like a Trek.. i saw some opinions here which i dont agree to...just coz u dont know abt it doesnt make it bad.. and dude! i m 5'9" n 80 kgs...so the 80mm shocks work well for me...for u i d suggest 100 mm shocks.. bottomline..if u r in Pune.. go to Life Cycle in Swargate..they have a large collection... try out what works for u n negotiate... even if u dont buy..atleast u d have a fair idea what works for u... cheers dude
