India's first production liquid cooled motorcycle, which has been playing havoc with the consumers minds ever since its launch announcement is finally here. The R15 also comes packed with technology like a Deltabox chassis (steel), DiASil cylinder (which is basically all-aluminum cylinders), 4 valve, Electronic Fuel Injection, Linked type Monocross suspension for a start! It had been pretty clear, at least to us, that this was going to be 17PS, but didn't know the torque figures. But, with a dry weight of 120 kgs and a curb weight of 131, it should be quick. Its much lighter than the other vehicles, which it is going to be compared by every roadside Rossi. I think MRF must have made a new tyre for the release of this machine as thetyre, with which it is being released is a 80/90 17inch. This should be great once it becomes available in stores for the TVS Apaches also, thinking of the race track. The machine is being released in Chennai on the race track this Saturday in a mega gala affair Tamil film star Madhavan included. Price: About Rs.1,12,000 on road in Bangalore.
